"To bag such a question proves that you are not an industrious person." This is the first question that sprung from my mind.

Before intruding into the world of laziness, we must define the term "laziness". Based on Answers.com, lazy is being define as being resistant to work or exertion; disposed to idlesness. Everyone has differing views on this ambiguous term. I shall define mine now.

Laziness is a personal choice. It encover the facts of low productivity. A lazy person often find him or herself stranded in a perplex situation with hopeless desires to achieve great lengths with effortless contribution. A person can be classified as being either physically or psychological-lazy. One is not better than the latter.

Physically-lazy people reinforces their "values" by doing practically nothing. They are known as the dreamer. They have great thoughts and definitions but are too reluctant to contribute to their striking dreams and hopes. On the other hand, psychologically-lazy people do not garner thoughts at all. They simply abide by regulations set by the world.

A sluggard is also someone who tends to spend more than his or her practical income. When a person fails to compute their thoughts of defining a "need" and a "want", he or she is showing nil interest in their life. If one is unwilling to take charge of a rudimentary element of life, the human factor is diminishing periodically.

Delegation does not imply laziness on one's part. On the other hand, delegation is one available channel to boost productivity. Picture this scenario: In the corporate world, managers delegate a certain portion of duties to their subordinates. When one is being entrusted with greater responsibilities, he or she will need extra manpower to share the burden. This does not reflect an heedless act of irresponsibility. In fact, the act of delegation enhance one's focus to concentrate on other aspects and requirements.

On a side note, there are often many stereotypical views which are fatally misguided. One of these sweeping statements is more prominent than the others. The general public has the perception of the obese as the industrious group. In reality, obesity could be voluntary or involuntary, in the case of genetics. Genes define the uniqueness of each individual. Nature has a tendency to play a cruel prank on some unlucky individuals by removing a specific gene that encodes a certain enzyme that breaks down fats. The loss of such genes is purely innate, leaving the indiviidual little or no voting capability to his or her size. However, if on seeks to gain weight on a voluntary basis and refuse to shed some to maintain a healthy physical body, we are entitled to the right of naming this person a "lazy-bum".

Laziness is to vague a topic because no individual will share similar sentiments, much less identical. Definite directives will never exist, only a set of guidelines set by the general public.
