Someone who is interested in learning about dynamic meteorology will study the atmospheric motions that are related to the climate and weather. Dynamic meteorology is the study of atmospheric sciences. There are a few requirements before taking the course. You must have a prerequisite that consists of basic knowledge of atmospheric physics, advanced calculus,  and basic computer skills. Studying the stratosphere is also part of dynamic meteorology. Weather forecasting that you see when you watch the weather on TV is solely based on dynamic meteorology. The Earth's atmosphere includes temperature, water vapor, and air pressure. These are the things that determine how weather systems impact a certain area.

Meteorology has a very long history that dates back to ancient times. Meteorologists are the scientists who study this field. Each part of this science uses unique lab equipment and instruments to study the weather. The subject first began in ancient India. People studied cloud formations, rain, seasonal cycles, and movement of the earth around the sun. Dynamic meteorology along with Boundary Layer meteorology is principles to meteorology. Dynamic meteorology is based on the fluid dynamics of the atmosphere where boundary layer is based on the air layer that is located above the earth's surface.

Weather forecasting predicts the weather for the future time and at a certain location or area. There are a variety of sciences in the meteorological field. Dynamic meteorology is offered as a course to graduate-level students. The behavior of the atmosphere as it is impacted by the weather and climate is just the beginning of learning the basics of dynamic meteorology. Study books are available on this subject and they can be purchased on-line or at bookstores. This field of study also includes new research on climate change. Storm dynamics and climate dynamics are also discussed in this field.

When you see a weatherer forecaster on television, you can believe that the person has had much extensive training to relay weather information to the public. They are highly qualified professionals that are trained at universities. They study the weather and receive hands-on experience to relay important weather information to you. People and scientists who study the climate and weather conditions are located all across the globe. It is not a subject that can be learned overnight. It takes some years to get a degree in this field. Watch the weather tonight on your television and find out who are the local forecasters for your area.
